MOV Toolkit

MOV Toolkit supports Limitorque Actuators size 000 to 4.  It is designed to help technicians, testers and engineers.

MOV Toolkit has four main features.

- A shopping list of tools and test equipment that can be checked off.

- A list of bolt sizes, with a calculator for converting bolt diameter to wrench size.

- A switch card that can be used to setup the testing configuration when monitoring switch contacts.

- A turns calculator that can determine inches or milliseconds of movement when intermittent gears are adjusted, as well as a hand wheel turns to inches of movement calculator.

Turns

The basic information required is actuator size, stem lead and OAR. You MUST correctly set the OAR to get correct results. Accurate time (ms) requires correctly selecting High Speed Motor toggle.

Values may be adjusted on both the left and right side of the turns section.  The other side will automatically be calculated.

Use the intermittent gear turns section to see the effect a limit switch adjustment will have, or to determine the required limit adjustment for a desired time or distance for stem movement.

Use the hand wheel section to determine the relationship between hand wheel turns and inches of movement.

Total hand wheel turns requires stroke length to be entered.
